Mission
Our mission is to improve patient care and increase awareness of medical conditions by facilitating access to relevant medical information and establishing a community hub. This hub will enable patients to share their experiences and connect with others facing similar challenges, thereby addressing the fragmentation within the healthcare system. This strategy aims to empower and educate patients, simplifying their navigation of healthcare resources, particularly for those residing in remote rural communities. Additionally, it seeks to, expand access to and understanding of, both conventional and complementary treatment options.
Vision
Our long-term vision is to develop a transformative healthcare ecosystem that ensures every patient has easy access to comprehensive medical information and a supportive community, regardless of their location or background. We aim to create an inclusive and interconnected environment that prioritises patient empowerment, community support and holistic health. This vision seeks to enhance the patient experience, reduce adverse medical events and improve health outcomes, particularly for individuals in rural and remote communities.
Our Story
Our CEO & founder, Frank, took time away from his role as a health lawyer to serve as a carer for his parents with his father suffering from prostate cancer and his mother from dementia. During this time, he identified significant gaps in the Australian healthcare system and began to view healthcare from a different perspective.
The concept for Chronic Aid Care emerged while he was caring for his parents, as Frank recognised that patient outcomes could be enhanced through improved communication between patients, carers and healthcare practitioners. He established a supportive network within his local community and observed the isolation many individuals faced during periods of illness.
This led to the creation of Chronic Aid Care: an ecosystem designed to foster neighbourly connections among Australians who are patients and carers, while providing the emotional support that specialists and healthcare professionals may not be able to offer.
Furthermore, Chronic Aid Care aims to empower patients by improving their knowledge and understanding of their conditions, promoting a more integrated approach to both traditional and complementary medicine, as well as advocating for a collaborative team-based approach.
